Though the criticisms of Aquinas are legion, the two most often cited complaints are these: (1) Thomas is guilty of “baptizing” the pagan philosophy of Aristotle, allowing an unwarranted intrusion of Greek philosophy into biblical thought; (2) His system of apologetics created a separation of nature and grace that ultimately led to the destruction of Christian culture and the
